Roger M Bailey, Chairman,
Age 58
Roger
is the founder of the company which came into existence
in 1999 to hold various investments made in information
technology and related industries over a number of previous
years.
His
initial entrepreneurial career started in 1968 in the emerging
motor sport industry, with the successful operation of +2;
retailing, manufacturing, and wholesaling of speed equipment,
clothing and accessories along with a highly profitable
mail order operation.
In
1972 he took control of a family owned property company
and from 1979 was involved in large scale commercial property
development with funding provided by UK pension funds and
bank finance, undertaking a program in excess Sterling £30
Million over the next 10 years.
In
the 1990’s he made a number of investments in Information
Technology and related enterprises resulting in the formation
of this group.
Dr
Michael Charles Allen, D.Phil and B.Sc (Hons)
Sussex, Director and MD of Bladon Aged 49.
Mike
joined the board of parts of the Atlantic Group part time
in June 2002. He is a senior clinical project manager with
Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, with responsibility for the UK and
Ireland clinical programme for the anti-infectives and transplant
portfolios, where he has gained considerable experience
in clinical trials budgeting and analysis and financial
management of multi million pound projects and the management,
strategic and tactical marketing of products.
He
plays a major role for Wyeth in developing key opinion leader
contacts within medicine, academic research, charities and
government bodies, including Parliamentary Select Committees
and Working Parties.
He
currently sits on a national working party looking into
infections in UK hospitals and developing guidelines to
tackle the problem of hospital infections. He is a member
of both the Global Brand and European Medical Expert teams
for anti-infectives.
Mike
is also a professional photographer with over 25 years experience
specializing in sports and glamour and has published in
Westminster Press Limited, Conde Naste, Century Publishing
(USA), Street & Smiths (USA), and other well known publications.
He has undertaken assignments for companies such Budweiser
and Rothmans.
He
also has experience of reptiles and amphibians and has assisted
in wildlife film making on many occasions. He holds a license
to keep and handle dangerous wild animals.
Mike
will become full time as soon as possible, focusing on the
development and management of the Media Division of Atlantic
(www.atlanticnetwork.com) as well as carrying out his duties
as Company Secretary for epaypoint plc, along with analyzing
trends and markets and as a point of contact for major customers.
Ian
Macdonald, Director, Chairman of Bladon and
epaypoint plc and Director of Purple Haze Productions Limited,
Aged 57.
Ian
has been involved in the financial services industry for
over 30 years. During this time he has worked in a variety
of capacities for a variety of companies;
as
a Marketing Manager in Standard Life, a Regional Manager
in Allied Dunbar, as a Director in both Sunlife Unit Services,
and Leopold Joseph. Ian’s experience in both finance
and film production is a critical contributing factor, not
only to the management of PHP but also to its philosophy.
Roger
Taylor, Director, Aged 58
Roger
has spent a large part of his commercial life with a number
of internationally renowned insurance and re-insurance companies
based in the UK, Bermuda and USA.
He
is a member of a number of professional bodies for both
accountants and insurance professionals and is a Fellow
of the Institute of Company Accountants, an Associate of
the Chartered Insurance Institute a member of the Institute
of Management Information Systems and of the Chartered Management
Institute.
As
the Director of Sartor Resources Limited, a licensed insurance
company manager based in Guernsey, with affiliates in Barbados
and Cyprus, Roger promotes and manages Captive Insurance
Companies, alternative risk financing programs, and acts
as a risk manager and underwriting consultant to companies
and groups on a worldwide basis.
